Lynn Ballard is an ordained Deacon in the Southern Baptist Denomination. He retired from the USPS, where he was a rural carrier and first responder. He served 8 ½ years on Greenville County Council and member of the Public Safety Committee.
He was trained by SCPSCA as a Chaplain and is currently serving as Chaplain for the Belmont Fire Department in Greenville County.

Six years into his tenure, he was appointed Chaplain for Fire and Police departments. He served in a part time roll as Chaplain until August of 2023 when he was appointed full time Chaplain.
Chaplain Ortiz has a beautiful wife, Sommer and two beautiful daughters, Amia and Ariana and his son-in-law Grant. He has also been blessed with two grandsons, Leo and Teddy.

Greg, an USMC veteran, is pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Ware Shoals, SC. Greg has served in pastoral church ministry for over 25 years. Greg is licensed and ordained with the Southern Baptist Convention.
